Ownership of Niftix code, third-party libraries, and the on-chain program.
Last updated: July 6, 2026
1. Overview
Niftix includes (a) original platform software — frontend, backend, and Solana escrow program — (b) third-party open-source libraries, and (c) brand assets. Each is governed by different terms, as described below.
2. Niftix software — all rights reserved
The original Niftix source code, smart contract, website, and APIs are proprietary and not licensed under MIT or any other open-source license, unless we expressly state otherwise in writing or in a published LICENSE file.
Unless we grant permission in writing:
- Copyright © 2026 Niftix. All rights reserved.
- You may not copy, fork, modify, or commercially redistribute Niftix source code or branded application code;
- You may use the Platform through the website and sign on-chain transactions in accordance with our Terms of Service;
- Deployed on-chain program bytecode is public on Solana and may be interacted with by anyone, but that does not grant rights to Niftix off-chain source code.
3. Third-party open-source dependencies
Niftix is built with open-source libraries (React, Next.js, Anchor, Solana web3.js, and others). Those packages are licensed under their own terms — typically MIT or Apache-2.0. Those licenses apply to those libraries only, not to original Niftix software.
4. Platform brand & UI
The Niftix name, logo, marketing copy, and custom UI design are proprietary. You may not:
- Use the Niftix name or logo to imply endorsement of another product without permission;
- Clone the branded consumer interface to mislead users into believing they are using official Niftix services;
- Remove copyright or attribution notices from licensed source code.
5. Smart Contract & On-Chain Program
The escrow program deployed on Solana (program ID: 46pyskaPyNGtne3UaYuVBZbjUVaP9EUtF9Zfc2krghTj on devnet as of publication) is intended to be verifiable and auditable. Deployed bytecode on each network (devnet, mainnet-beta) may differ by version. You are responsible for verifying the program address and IDL before signing transactions.
Use of the smart contract is at your own risk. Audits, if any, do not guarantee absence of vulnerabilities. See our Terms of Service for risk disclaimers.
6. Third-Party Services
The Platform depends on open-source and commercial libraries, including but not limited to:
- Next.js, React — MIT License;
- Solana web3.js, Anchor — Apache 2.0 / MIT (per package);
- Wallet adapter packages — various open-source licenses;
- Helius, Magic Eden, and other APIs — subject to their provider terms.
Third-party licenses are typically listed in package.json and node_modules license files in the repository.
7. User-Generated Content
By posting swap listings, chat messages, profile images, or other content on the Platform, you grant Niftix a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the service. You represent that you have the rights to any content you upload and that it does not infringe third-party intellectual property.
8. NFT & Media Content
NFT images and metadata are often hosted by creators or third parties (IPFS, Arweave, centralized servers). Niftix does not claim ownership of NFT media displayed through the interface. Display does not constitute an endorsement of any collection or creator.
